At its first meeting in December, the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill presented its monthly Junior Rotarian Award to Jyneel Bryan, an inspirational young lady from Richmond Hill High School.
“Jyneel Bryan not only achieves academic and sporting excellence on a daily basis – she is a member of the National Honor Society and has won an award for her volleyball skills – but also makes time to help others and protect our environment,” RHHS Principal Helen Herndon said.
“Of particular note, Jyneel supports our soldiers in Afghanistan and is a member of our local Tree Foundation.”
Rotary Club President Bill Eberlein, CEO of Megateeth Fossils, elaborated on the importance of young leadership.
“The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill has made a commitment to support young people this year with the Junior Rotarian of the Month Award, along with our annual youth leadership award, to inspire young people to be the very best they can be at school, in our community, with their families and throughout their lives,” he said.
