Former county chief tax appraiser Dan Rollf was recently honored with a reception celebrating his retirement and his 13 years of service to Bryan County. Rollf was the chief appraiser during much of the growth time leading up to and through the housing recession. It was his job to properly assess properties and to make sure the county had a stable digest through these changing times.
