Greg and Emily Medlin of Statesboro are proud to announce the birth of their son, Parker James Medlin.

Parker was born on July 26, 2007 at 5:20 a.m. in East Georgia Regional Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 19-1/4 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Kim and Bruce Tucker of Frankleton, North Carolina.

Paternal grandparents are Lynda and Michael Smith of Groveland and Jay and Staley Medlin of North Carolina.

The mother is the former Emily Tucker of Frankleton.
