Family Promise of Bryan County is holding a Bedspread Derby Race on Nov. 1 at First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill.
The event involves teams finding sponsors, building and decorating beds on wheels, and racing them in the church parking lot to raise funds to help homeless families.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., bed judging starts at 9 a.m. and race heats begin at 10 a.m. Deadlines for sponsors is Oct. 7. Team entry deadline is Oct. 14. For more information or to register go to www.familypromisebryancounty.org.
