Two girls show off their gifts from Santa Claus, while the big man in red visits with others during the American Legion Post 164’s annual holiday supper in December.

Each year the Pembroke group hosts local active-military families to its December meeting.

This year Santa visited 11 children from five military families.

Post 164 meets the second Tuesday each month at 7 p.m. at the post home on Highway 280 West in Pembroke just past Alco Department Store on the right.

All ex-military are welcome and encouraged to attend.
