What you see seems pretty simple. A couple has decided to take the escalator, but they appear to have no idea how the contraption works. This poor couple is stuck in an eternal loop as they try their best to walk down an up escalator. Its like trying to swim up river, only drier and more frustrating.
It may seem the man shooting this video is making fun of this couple, but I dont think thats it at all. This is not mocking, this is utter disbelief as this man records actual proof of time travelers. I feel this is the only explanation for what Im seeing. Or at least the only explanation Im willing to accept.
This couple managed to fall into a time portal and ended up in the year 2017. I have no idea when they come from, but it was a time before escalators. This couple has been managing fairly well in the future and are adjusting quite well. They found a place to live, theyve adopted modern styles of clothing and they have learned to blend seamlessly. Well, that was true until they encountered the moving staircase, that is.
The couple from the past saw everyone on this magic black stairway and didnt want to look out-of-place and decided to go with the flow. But little did they know, they had gone against the flow and are now fighting the perpetual motion of the mythical stairs. The couple eventually realized progression was futile, threw in the towel and went back to their time, frustrated and frightened of the static future.
