Two groups of student leaders at Bryan County High School recently held drives to gather items for those in need.

During December the Bryan County High School Future Business Leaders of America collected scarves and gloves for the homeless and presented several bags full to Bryan County Family Connection on Dec. 20.

The Bryan County Student Council sponsored a food drive during December, collecting around 700 items for the emergency food pantry in Pembroke. Each student council member shared the responsibility by collecting, counting and packaging goods. The items were delivered Dec. 19.
