Pembroke Lions Club President Bill Anderson honored Bryan County Middle School teacher Julie Anderson Howard and BCHS senior Kendall Dixon at the club’s scholarship presentation dinner May 17 at the Whistle Stop Café in Pembroke. Anderson presented Howard a certificate of appreciation for her achievements as an educator. Howard, a former recipient of the Lions Club Scholarship, then presented Dixon this year’s $500 scholarship.
