Richmond Hill Montessori preschoolers have been on a yearlong educational journey that could prove to be well worth it.

Over the course of the last year, children, parents and teachers worked together to prepare, plant and nurture a butterfly garden that is now the home to many insects.

Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool has been recognized by the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail for implementation of both the garden and the educational impact for children in our area.

Gail Martinez, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biologist, and Amy Schuler with Coastal WildScapes helped with the project.
