Armstrong Atlantic

Many students from Bryan County were named to the dean’s list for the 2012 spring semester at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled in a minimum of nine semester hours.

Charleston Southern

Haley Marie McPherson of Richmond Hill was recently named to the dean’s list at Charleston Southern University for the spring semester 2012.

To be named to the dean’s list at Charleston Southern, students must have earned 12 credit hours and have a 3.5 grade point average or above for that semester.

Florida Tech

Hannah Sharp of Pembroke was named to the dean’s list at Florida Institute of Technology for the spring semester, which ended in May.

Sharp is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in astronomy and astrophysics

To be included on the dean’s list, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester grade-point average of at least 3.4.

Georgia College

Nine Richmond Hill natives made the dean’s list at Georgia College for the 2012 spring semester.

The Richmond Hill students honored were: Lauren Bensman, Joshua Donlevy, James Gorton, Corey Haws, Stephen Hundley, William Kilmer, Rebecca Slack, Jason Trankle and Caitlin Uhlig.

Georgia Tech

The following students from Richmond Hill have earned the distinction of dean’s list at the Georgia Institute of Technology for spring semester 2012: Candace Giles; Tami King; Joshua Porter; and Johnathan Waller.

Undergraduate students earning a 3.00 or higher academic average for the semester gain the distinction of being named to the dean’s list at Georgia Tech.

LaGrange College

Marena Rae Canady of Richmond Hill was named to the dean’s list for the 2012 spring semester at LaGrange College.

To be eligible the dean’s list, a student must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.6 while taking a minimum course load of 12 hours.

Mars Hill College

Tyler Nicole Carlson of Richmond Hill was named to the dean’s list at Mars Hill College for the spring 2012 semester.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 on a minimum of 12 semester hours, and carry no grade below a C.
