Valdosta State: Ten students from Bryan County earned spots on the Valdosta State University dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester:

Pembroke — Madison Llewellyn Smith.

Richmond Hill — Ariana Alexandra Bryant, Hollee Nicole Eastwood, Liam Anton Gillis, John E. Phifer, Mollie Abigail Riggins, Jennifer Ann St. Aubin, James Turner Stanberry, Kylee Ann Thrash and Kaitlin Deanna White.

Columbia College: Seven students from Richmond Hill were named to the Columbia College dean’s list for the January and March eight-week sessions.

The students are: Russell B. Carpenter, Roderick J. Johnson, Brian G. Mann, Michael C. McQuillan, Renthia Y. Richardson, Nicolette M. Shields and Charlie J. Stokes.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a four-point scale.

Oxford College: Anna Bausum of Richmond Hill was named to the honor list of Oxford College of Emory University for the 2012 spring semester.

Students must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher to be named to the honor list.
