The Friends of the Pembroke Library have chosen Skyler Merchant, 6, as the second winner of the “Reader of the Week” program.

His mother is Kristina Merchant. He is a student at Lanier Primary School and misses his friends during the summer. He enjoys spending time with his grandmother, Donna Waters.

His favorite books are about Star Wars and he loves to play computer games
