The Richmond Hill Exchange Club named two Richmond Hill High School seniors as its Students of the Month during the club’s recent meeting at the City Center.

Brandon Olson was awarded Student of the Month for March, and Madelyn Hansen was awarded Student of the Month for April.

For more than 30 years, the Exchange Club of Richmond Hill has presented Student of the Month awards to outstanding seniors at Richmond Hill High School. The award is presented for the months of September-April and is based on academic performance, community involvement, leadership and all-around excellence. Each winner is presented a check for $100.

In May, the club’s Student of the Year is chosen from the monthly winners and presented a plaque and a check for $1,000 during RHHS Honors Night.

“The Exchange Club appreciates the support and assistance of the administration and counselors of RHHS in helping us recognize some of their most outstanding students,” Exchange Club member Lynn Bennett said. “Special thanks to our Exchange Club member, Laura Evans, for organizing our Student of the Month and Student of the Year program again this year.”
