Center offering Microsoft classes

STATESBORO — Georgia Southern University’s Division of Continuing Education is offering a number of Microsoft classes this fall at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. in downtown Savannah.
A Microsoft Excel–1 class has been added to the class schedule. It will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 10 and Sept. 12.
The registration fee is $85, and the class is designed for anyone interested in acquiring or improving spreadsheet skills.
Continuing Education also is accepting registration for a Microsoft Word–1 class, which will be from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 24 and Sept.26. The registration for this class is also $85.
Marcus Cook, a network engineer for the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, will teach the classes. Cook has more than 12 years of information technology experience.
