Carver Elementary School in Richmond Hill was bustling with visitors from all walks of life on Friday as the school conducted its yearly Career Day. Parents and community professionals were invited to share with students the particulars of their careers and offer insight into a typical work day. Helicopter pilots, military tank commanders, an ice sculptor, insurance salesmen, firemen, real estate agents, chiropractors, a hotel convention planner and law enforcement agents were some of the professionals available to enlighten students on the many career opportunities that exist.
