The first day of school for the 2017-2018 academic year is Aug. 7. Each school will hold an open house the previous week for parents to meet teachers, get details about class activities and sign up for email and text distribution lists.

The schedule is as follows:

Aug. 2

Lanier Primary School: 5-6:30 p.m.

Bryan County Middle School: 5:30-7 p.m.

Richmond Hill Primary School: 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Richmond Hill Elementary School 4-6 p.m.

Richmond Hill Middle School 4-7:30 p.m.

Aug. 3

Bryan County Elementary School 5-6:30 p.m.

Bryan County High School 5:30-7 p.m.

Carver Elementary School 4-6 p.m.

McAllister Elementary School 4-6 p.m.

Richmond Hill High School 5-7 p.m.
