Members of the Spanish Honor Society at Bryan County High School held a clothing drive for Bryan County Family Connection recently.
Students promoted the drive and collected more than 30 boxes full of clothes. They sorted, folded, boxed and labeled the items to be delivered before Christmas.
"This was a great opportunity for our students to contribute to the local community and to learn about the services that Family Connection provides," said Spanish teacher Roman Czerwinski.
The honor society is sponsored by Czerwinski and Jeff Smith. It has 30 active students who learn about the Spanish culture and language through appropriate cultural activities in and out of class, as well as a variety of community service opportunities.
