Students in Inga Cashon’s engineering concepts class at Bryan County High School recently completed the toothpick-bridge challenge.

Students researched design ideas, sketched their final plans and constructed bridges made of toothpicks and glue. The bridges had to support the weight of a concrete block for the testing phase. The students worked in teams of two to complete their products.

Engineering concepts is the second class offered in the engineering and technology education pathway at BCHS.
