Students and staff at Bryan County Elementary School celebrated Red Ribbon Week Oct. 23-27.
The week began with students learning about the reason Red Ribbon Week is celebrated. The National Red Ribbon Campaign is the country’s oldest and largest drug prevention program.
Each student also signed a pledge to be drug free. During the week, students and staff dressed each day in distinct outfits that represented a facet of drug-free living. Members of the Bryan County High School SADD chapter also visited the students and talked with them.
