Amidst the holiday bustle, Georgia Game Changers Running Co. is offering a chance for local area fitness enthusiasts to show their holiday sweaters with a neighborhood fun run.
The third annual Ugly Sweater Run at 6 p.m. on Dec. 12 will start and finish at Game Changers Complex and take runners (or walkers) through Richmond Place. This year’s run will include a demonstration of a new brand of running shoes at the store from Diadora, an Itailian company known for its soccer and tennis shoes.
Participants will be able to test run the Diadora shoes. Look for some Italian-themed snacks following the run.
The event is posted on the Georgia Game Changers Running Facebook page, and would-be participants can sign up there for this free run.
Game Changers owner Ron Elliott encourages people to bring jingle bells and lights to take on the run. The Ugly Sweater Run also kicks off the Game Changers annual 12 Days of Christmas.
