BCHS softball

BCHS Softball practice begins Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 4 p.m. at the high school softball field. All paperwork should completed before this date. For more information call Coach Kim Covington at 653-4777, or Robin Butler at 653-2348 or Karen Lynn at 653-5362.


RHHS softball

Tryouts for the Lady Wildcat softball team will be at the high school at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1. All paperwork should be completed before this date. For further details, call Coach Jodi Regan at 756-3310.


BCHS football

Redskin football practice will begin with a 2 day mini camp starting Aug. 1 at 5 p.m. Physicals, parent permission, and proof of insurance are needed at this time. For further details, call Coach Ron Lewis at 626-5070.



The RHHS Wildcat football booster club, also known as the Gridiron Club is having a golf tournament Aug. 4 to raise funds. Prizes include a Harley Davidson motorcycle, airline tickets, golf clubs, flat screen tv, $260,000 in cash and much more. For more information, call Steve at 228-0961 or Ricky at 663-5094.


Cheerleading camp

The RHHS Cheerleader Booster Club is sponsoring a summer cheerleading sports camp for girls ages 4-12 at Richmond Hill High School July 30-Aug. 3 from 8:30 a.m.-noon daily.

Camp will be conducted by the RHHS "Wildcat" varsity football/competition cheerleaders, Region 3-AAA champs 2004-2006 and instruction includes cheers, chants, pom-pom routines, motions, crowd participation techniques and more. Cheer games and activities will keep the girls busy throughout this half-day camp.

Early paid registration (prior to July 27) is $60 which includes a T-shirt, cheer medal, pom-poms and a daily snack. All girls attending this camp will have the opportunity to cheer before the start of a home RHHS varsity football game. The registration fee after July 27 or at the door is $75. Don’t delay, register early, save money and be guaranteed the correct t-shirt size for your daughter.

The Richmond Hill Recreation Association is currently holding sign-ups for its fall season. Age groups range from U-6 to U-19. Go to to register. Ages U-8 and below are $45.00 and above 8 years of age the fee is $65.00. Coaches and volunteers are needed, please sign-up on line.
