The Richmond Hill Middle School Lady Wildcat basketball team defeated William James Middle School 25-24 in the final round of the region championship tournament Saturday in Effingham County.

This marks the second region championship for the school this year as the RHMS Wildcat football team won the regional gridiron title this past season as well.

-BCHS boys and girls both lost to Portal on Friday.

-RHHS boys beat South Effingham 52-27 on Friday and beat BCHS 54-30 on Saturday.

-RHHS girls beat BCHS 55-41 on Saturday and lost to SEHS 39-36 on Friday.
