Five Richmond Hill volleyball players received post-season recognition, according to Coach Taisa Tremble. 

Mackenzie Petermann, Lainie Nygaard and Skylar Wellington were named first-team in Region 2-AAAAAA, while Vanessa Malave and Abbey Workman received second-team honors. Petermann also was named defensive player of the year in the region.

The Wildcats finished the season 20-20 overall and 5-4 in the region, reaching the Sweet 16 in the state tournament.

"While we were not able to conquer all that we set out to do, we captured several small victories along the way that will continue to build this program and set the bar for the future," Tremble said.
