The team of Chris Daering, Chris Davis, Jeff Cowart and Jason Ellis took first place in the low-gross category at the 16th annual Santa Scramble on Nov. 6 at Sterling Links Golf Course.

The event raised nearly $18,000 for the Bryan County Children’s Fund and drew 22 teams.

The second-place low-gross team members were Brad Brookshire, Jack Green, Tommy Brookshire and Ken Lee.

The first-place net team consisted of Mike Volen, Dennessy Hoffman, Mark Sells and Bart Knock. Second-place net team members were Dewaine Priester, Grant Black, John Hopkins and Brian Roberson.

Honors for closest to the pin went to Steve Meyers on No. 2, Phil Jones on No. 12 and Roy Sasser on No. 13.
