Bryan County High School fell to Savannah Country Day 5-0, 5-0, in a Region 3-A tennis match on Monday.
Girls results
First singles: Kayla Koskela lost 3-6, 3-6; Second singles: Taylor Stanfield lost 0-6, 2-6; Third singles: Alex Rud lost 0-6, 0-6; First doubles; Chelsea Gallo and Jamie Lape lost 5-7, 6-4, 5-7; Second doubles: Lauren Martin and McKenzie Covington lost 4-6, 0-6.
Boys results:
First singles: Eric Morgan lost 0-6, 0-6; Second singles: Jeremy Ennis lost 3-6, 4-6; Third singles: Eric Sikes lost 0-6, 0-6; First doubles: Phillip Sapp and Bradley Hoover lost 0-6, 0-6; Second doubles: Jerry Shuman and Terry Hardy lost 0-6, 0-6.

All-Region picks for spring sports announced

Richmond Hill placed several players on their respective All-Region teams in Region 2-AAAAAA for tennis and soccer after all four teams made it to their respective state tournaments this spring.

In girls’ soccer, first-team selections were Grace Kiser, Ruthie Riley, Carly Vargas and Ellie Filamonczuk. Honorable mention went to Bella Martinez. Arianna Page and Lexi Merry.

For boys’ soccer, Joseph Petrino, Agboade Sobowale, Roman Alvarez, Trever Blitchington and Cristian Marquez made first team.

For girls’ tennis, Hannah Yontz, Megan Bausch and Stephanie Harter all made the second team at singles, as did the doubles team of Bailey Lopata and Caren Bausch.

For the boys, Jackson Martin was first team singles and Alec Shermer was second team singles. Zach Sewell received honorable mention.
