Host Coastal Little League broke open a close game to knock off South Fulton 13-8 on Saturday in Pool 1 play at the 2012 Georgia Little League 10/11-year-old state championship tournament in Richmond Hill.

In Saturday's other afternoon game, Warner Robins American scored nine first-inning runs enroute to a 12-3 win over Midway Heights.

Sunday's schedule:

Pool 1: Martinez Evans vs. Tocca, 2 p.m., Athens vs. Coastal Little League, 5 p.m.

Pool 2: Columbus Northern vs. Warner Robins American, 2 p.m.; Midway Heights vs. Murphey Candler Blue, 5 p.m.

Pool play continues through Wednesday. The semifinals are Thursday and the championship game is Friday.
