The Bryan County high school Lady 'Skins softball team traveled to Dublin on Tuesday for the championship round of the Region 3A tournament and squeezed out a 1-0 win in the first game against the Truetlen County Vikings. The two teams carried a 0-0 score through the fifth inning before Bryan County scored to advance to the championship game.

Bryan County and Savannah Christian squared off once again in the championship game and found themselves tied at 1-1 after five innings. That score continued past regulation play and into the eighth inning before a couple of errors by Bryan County allowed the Raiders of Savannah Christian to win 3-1.

Bryan County is the No.2 seed in the opening round of the state playoffs and will host a unknown opponent on Wednesday, Oct. 13 in Pembroke.
