The third annual Team Matt Knight Fishing Tournament will be from noon to 6 p.m. on April 29 at WaterWays Township.

It honors Matt Knight, who was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2015 and insisted that proceeds go to benefit the American Cancer Society rather than his medical bills. The 2016 outing raised about $5,000.

Cost is $45 per adult and $30 for kids ages 8 to 11. Admission is free and there will be games, food and retail vendors, a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle. Sponsorships are available.

For more information, call WaterWays Township at 912-445-0299.
