Editor, Hello, students!

Hope you’ve had a great summer. It always goes by so quick. That is because we’re having fun!

Because of the new school and different times, I’m going to lose my regular route (elementary). I am going to miss you! I’ll always love you all and hope that I will see some of you when I have lunch with my grandson each week.

I would like to welcome all the new students and look forward to seeing your smiling faces.

I would like to thank everyone who makes my job better — Dr. Allen Cox and Susan, our secretary, and our awesome mechanics, and also our school staff. Some of these people stand out in the heat and freezing cold, rain and storms to greet or load or direct traffic for students.

See you all Aug. 3. May God bless you all and keep you safe.
