With the third week of college football, we finally get away from games like “UGA vs Little Sisters of the Poor” and “Ohio State vs Akron Garden Club” and into some more interesting content, but man alive if it didn’t get interesting in that Auburn-Baylor game! The Mercedes-Benz Stadium got a show. I was on a boat in the Bahamas with Mrs. Floyd and I swear I heard BJ and Mike Clark hollering in Pembroke.
This weeks’ games begin Friday night with a Midwest Matchup, Missouri @ Kansas.
We all believe Mizzou will take it home.
Oklahoma goes to Michigan.
Always fun when the SEC steps into the Big 10’s house. BJ, Doc, Carter and Ben take Michigan. The rest of us take Oklahoma.
Our farthest away game this weekend is Utah State @ Washington. Noah picks Utah State. The rest pick Washington.
After putting a natural born butt-whooping on Furman, the Tennessee Volunteers go to the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets coming off a heartbreaker to Colorado.
BJ, Bob, Me, Ben, Noah and Mike C pick Tennessee. Ted, Jeff, Doc, Carter and Mike B pick Georgia Tech.
We have the always entertaining matchup of Ohio State at Texas. BJ, Ted, Me, Ben, Jeff, Noah and Mike C take Texas. Mike B. Bob, Doc and Carter pick Ohio State.
Arkansas plays Utah, both teams coming off healthy wins. BJ, Me, Bob, Jeff, Doc, Carter and Noah pick the Razorbacks. Ted, Ben, Noah and the Mike’s take Utah.
Four good D-II matchups this weekend round out the slate:
App State @ East Carolina.
ECU took their first week “pay for the stadium beating” at Alabama. Now they’re ready to play ball. Mike C and Doc believe in ‘em. The rest of us pick App State.
Marshall, who also took a week 1 “pay for the stadium beating” from Penn State, plays Middle Tennessee.
Me and Jeffro pick Middle Tennessee. The rest are a Thundering Herd.
South Alabama goes to Tulane aka Mardi Gras Lite. I bet this is a fun game to attend. Me, Doc and Bob take South Alabama.
