We as human beings are having to constantly make decisions; minor decisions pertaining to the clothes we will wear and what we choose to eat to major ones such as where to work, which college to attend, and who to begin a relationship with. If you are reading this I am sure you can come up with a lot more, especially those that fit your present life.

The reality is that we will have to continually make decisions and that we will need wisdom in order to make the right ones.

The great news is that as believers in Jesus, we are promised wisdom from God but there is a condition, we need to ask. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you”.

Did you notice that it says, “without finding fault”? God knows we are human and capable of making bad decisions so He doesn’t mind helping us.

So, what decisions are you having to make where you need wisdom?

Take time to pray and ask God to help you because He has promised that He will. If you are not a believer the Lord can fix that too.

Then you will have a heavenly Father to go to in times of need.
