Making an impact
pastor corner

Every Christian on this planet ought to want to leave a positive impact when we depart from this life by using the ministry God has equipped us with. By the way, the reality is that everyone of us will be leaving sooner or later. Some believers are able to spend multiple years while others only a few. One example of someone who had a few years of public ministry was Jesus Christ who only served around 3 years. However, His ministry was more impactful than anyone else in history.

We can make the greatest impact when we understand what our ministry is and what our gifts and strengths are, then using them to serve God and others.

Many times, we don’t see the impact we are making in the lives of others. In heaven one day there will be those who will share that they are in heaven because of our impact. There will be stories of times when you encouraged others and gave them hope. I like the words of a song sung by Ray Boltz several years ago which brings orth this truth. The chorus goes like this: “Thank you for giving to the Lord, I am a life that changed. Thank you for giving to the Lord, I am so glad you gave.”

The big question today is, how much of an impact are you leaving in the world where God has placed you?
