This winter has seen so many extreme temperature swings; one week it is really warm and the next week really cold. The truth be told, weather in most places in the world is really inconsistent.

The same is not true concerning the creator of the universe; He is always consistent and never changing. God states this about Himself in Malachi 3:6, “I the Lord do not change”. The writer of Hebrews shares with us this truth about Jesus Christ, God in human flesh.

In Hebrews 13:8, it says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

God is always good, He is always loving, always merciful, and He is always faithful. He will always be all-powerful, all knowing, and ever present to meet our needs.

No matter what happens in the world around us, that is everchanging, we can put our trust in the God who is always consistent.
