Do you believe?

There is an important question that is asked in Matthew 9:28 by Jesus when approached by 2 blind men wanting to be healed. He asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” Their answer was, “yes, Lord”.

The scripture goes on to say that they were healed in response to their faith.

What do you need Jesus to do for you? One of the problems with some people’s needs being met by Jesus is that they would never ask Him because they don’t acknowledge who He is.

They don’t believe He is the Son of God and the Savior of the world.

They may not even believe He cares what’s going on with their lives.

A second problem is that they don’t believe Jesus can actually do anything about their issues. In other words, He doesn’t have the power to change things.

Some needs involve marriage or other relational issues; some involve a physical need; some involve a financial need. The greatest need, being spiritual, requires a heart transformation. So, the question for you and I is, will we believe?
