The other day I was involved in one of my prayer walks and was thanking the Lord for food, water, clothes and shelter, my ability to see in addition to so many other things. I started looking around and noticed the beauty; a beauty that I was able to appreciate that day.

The scripture teaches us that we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Proverbs 27:1 says, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring”. Because we are not guaranteed that we will see tomorrow, then we ought to choose to enjoy today. Enjoy this beauty around you and the good relationships that you have.

There is always a reason to rejoice each day. As a believer in Jesus, rejoice because Jesus has promised to be with you and will never leave you or forsake you.

Be joyful that you have family, friends and other believers that can support and love you. Rejoice because your name is written in heaven, and you get to go there at the end of this life.

Appreciate that today you have an opportunity to serve others.
