This is the question the Lord asked Abraham in Genesis 18:14 when his wife Sarah had laughed at the idea of having a child at the age of 90:The Lord was asking Abraham if he thought making a way for Sarah to have a son at this old age was too hard a thing for him to make happen.

If you know the story, you know that not only could the Lord make it happen, but it did happen.

This is a question we might be asking when we are facing a difficult situation in our life – something that would require a miracle in order to happen.

The good news is that we have been invited to know and serve a God who is very capable of performing miracles and there is nothing that is too hard for our Lord to handle.

There is nothing that he can’t do, even though we might be facing a situation that man with his best ability would be helpless. Luke 18:27 reminds us that “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

What kind of issues are you facing that look too big for you to handle? Could it be a failing marriage, or an addiction, or bad news from the doctor, or possibly a problem with your kids?

The greatest impossibility with mankind is to change who you are on the inside.

God can and will forgive and change you from the inside out when you accept the forgiveness and grace offered through his Son Jesus Christ.
