Richmond Hill resident Erma Harron was reportedly killed Sunday in an automobile accident in North Augusta, S.C. when a Cadillac reportedly travelling at a high rate of speed in the wrong lane collided with Harron’s vehicle.

The driver of the Cadillac, 58-year-old Anthony Williams, was killed as well. Harron’s daughter Janet Springer and son-in-law Lennie Springer, who lived with Harron in Buckhead North, were also in the vehicle and remain hospitalized following orthopedic surgery at Medical College of Georgia, according to a family friend.

Their dog, Rascal, was also injured and brought to Savannah for surgery.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but are being handled by Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
