Westwin Elements is set to host a town hall on Monday, Feb. 2 at the Richmond Hill City Center in a bid to allay fears held by Bryan County residents regarding the company’s plans to establish a nickel refinery in Richmond Hill.
The Oklahoma-based company has faced backlash from locals, with many in Richmond Hill expressing concern over the potential environmental cost of the nickel refinery in Coastal Georgia.
The issue will also feature at the City of Richmond Hill’s February City Hall meeting the next day on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Richmond Hill City Hall.
