The series will offer free workshops for nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers across Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Liberty and Long counties. Designed to strengthen nonprofit leadership, organizational effectiveness and community impact, the series will feature practical tools and training opportunities in in-person, hybrid and virtual formats throughout 2026.
“Our learning series is a great opportunity to pour into the nonprofit organizations serving our community every day,” said Kimberly Waller, president and CEO of United Way of the Coastal Empire. “When we can offer accessible, high-quality learning experiences, we help strengthen the people and organizations working to make a difference across our region. We’re so grateful for Gulfstream’s continued support, which allows us to provide this kind of capacity-building resource to local nonprofits at no cost.”
The series is scheduled to launch in April and continue through November 2026.
The first session, “Building a Fundraising Engine: Sustainable Revenue Systems,” will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 27, at Senior Citizens Inc., 3025 Bull St. in Savannah. The session will focus on helping nonprofit leaders build stronger fundraising systems, diversify revenue streams and create practical, year-round development strategies, particularly in organizations with limited staff and resources. The workshop is designed for executive directors, development staff and board fundraising committees.
The second session, “The Balanced Board: Clear & Meaningful Service,” will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28, at Goodwill Southeast Georgia, 7220 Sallie Mood Drive in Savannah.
