Sunday night, Pembroke Mayor Judy Cook and about 25 city hall staff, families and supporters braved the wet weather to attend a Christmas party at the home of Administrator Alex Floyd. 

“All these folks have worked so hard to keep Pembroke going this year and if anybody deserves a Christmas party it’s them," Floyd said,.

 The price of admission was a gift for the Mayors Motorcade, an annual event at Georgia Regional Hospital. Floyd will  deliver those gifts and some others purchased with cash donations .

Floyd said later in the evening, the police were called, but just to make sure they got some snacks.
