Here’s what Miller said about Sommers.

“My supervisor, Randy, has constantly supported me with time off to attend schools, state duties, and the extra drill day that were added to the drill schedule. The leadership at Sommers Oil has been very flexible with the unpredictability that come from employing a traditional guardsman. Originally, when I was hired. I had been on a break from the Guard of around 8 years. I always knew I wanted to complete my service to my country and community. After only one year of employment, in 2013. I asked Randy if he and the Sommers team would support me, if I joined the Georgia National Guard. Without hesitation, Randy said "Yes" knowing the sacrifice the organization would face with my obligations to serve in the Guard. I could not serve the my Country nor my community without the support I receive from the Sommers Oil family.”
