Bryan County’s schools are offering a $500 reward to help catch those responsible for recent vandalism at schools in Richmond Hill.
In a short press release, School Superintendent Dr. Sallie Brewer called the vandalism “stealing from the children of Bryan County Schools and from the taxpayers who provide quality buildings and resources for our students.”
The vandalism occurred over the Christmas holiday at Richmond Hill Primary, Carver Elementary and Richmond Hill HIgh School.
Here’s the entire press release.
“There has been vandalism of our schools during this holiday break. Vandalism is stealing from the children of Bryan County Schools and from the taxpayers who provide quality buildings and resources for our students. Board tax funds cannot be used to provide a reward, but the schools are offering a reward of $500 to the first person providing the Richmond Hill Police Department information which leads to an arrest and a conviction for these crimes against our children and citizens.”
