The National Weather Service is warning that there could be minor flooding in Bryan, Liberty and Long counties today.
The flood advisory was issued just before 8 a.m., when the service reported that as much as 2 inches of rain had fallen since 6 a.m., ontop of the 3-4 inches that fell Sunday through Monday.
The advisory says flooding is possible in low-lying areas and where there are drainage problems.
Forecasts say rain should taper off later today.
