Recent crime reports to the Bryan County Sheriff's Office included this one on criminal damage to property:
Oct. 12 – Deputies responded around midnight in reference to property damage at an Elm Drive home in Ellabell where they found a couch, love seat, a 52-inch flat screen television and a ceramic statue broken in the yard. The resident said a man pulled up and threw the items from his truck into the yard. The man said the property belonged to his friend who was also the suspect’s ex-girlfriend. Later, the suspect came back with a refrigerator that appeared to have damage from a hammer.
