Recent crime reports filed with the Bryan County Sheriff's Department included:
June 30 – Deputies responded to Shumantown Road in Ellabell after a father found his daughter had invited her older boyfriend to their home while the father was not there and without his permission. The father asked to press charges against the boyfriend if he returns to the property.
