Burglary at Pembroke convenience store

Blotters from local law enforcement agencies included this report of an Aug. 15 burglary in Pembroke:

Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. to the Quick Stop on North Main Street in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, officers noted the front glass door was shattered and found a piece of concrete that was believed to have been used to bust the door. Officers found three Wheel of Fortune lottery tickets on the ground, and when the store manager arrived on scene and took an inventory, five packs of Newport cigarettes were reported missing. The estimated cost to replace the door was $700.
