Pembroke Advanced Communications has announced the extension of its Cell Phones for Soldiers phone collection campaign through March.

Pembroke customers and area residents can donate gently used smartphones, feature phones or tablets to the program that benefits US troops and veterans.

Recognized for the effort to connect military members serving around the globe, Cell Phones for Soldiers co-founders Robbie and Brittany Bergquist were recently honored in Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2017. The award recognizes America’s young entrepreneurs and included more than 15,000 nominations for 600 spots.

"Our phone collection campaign is the perfect opportunity for customers wanting to upgrade to a new phone while at the same time assisting our troops and veterans," PAC Business Office Manager Stephanie Morrison said.
