The Richmond Hill Garden Club has selected the home of Christa Martin at 195 St. Catherines Court in the Waterford Landing subdivision as their November Yard of the Month.

It is evident that a lot of hard work, TLC, and time goes in to this lovely yard. The curb appeal is amazing. From the road, it is a variety of vibrant colors (even in the midst of this winter month).

Martin keeps her yard fresh and current with seasonal flowers, so there are always lovely flowers blooming year round. Standing on her sidewalk leading up to her front door is like standing in a secret garden. Surrounded by plants of all sorts, there are even tropical plants showcasing their beauty. She has many plants that call her garden their home. A few of them are: gladiolus, coleus, begonias, banana trees, ferns, pansies, mums and hibiscus.

It is no wonder that butterflies love her garden and visit her often. She is a great steward to Mother Nature's most delicate creatures, offering them a place to be nurtured year round. In addition to a Yard of the Month certificate, Martin received a gift certificate from Tim & Dave's Nursery.
