Bryan County Schools has published the proposed attendance area for McAllister Elementary School on the school district website. The proposed attendance lines for McAllister Elementary School are based on many different factors collected during the first community forum. One of the primary factors influencing the proposed attendance area was the projected student growth in South Bryan County at the elementary level. Dr. Paul Brooksher, Superintendent, states “It is essential that we look at future growth for McAllister Elementary School and our existing elementary schools to help ensure that we keep pace with current and future residential developments. We hope to avoid a situation where we open a brand new school and we are over capacity in one or two years.”
