Pembroke will recognize its fire department volunteers at Monday's city council meeting, according to a proposed agenda sent to the Bryan County News office Friday.

The meeting will get under way at 7 p.m. It is at Pembroke City Hall.

Other agenda items include the city's work detail contract with the Georgia Department of Corrections; a beer and wine license for Harveys; a hospital board appointment and some Downtown Development Authority business. 

In addition the city council will hear various departmen and committee reports before going into executive session for land acquisition and personnel matters.
